Hello, I am Kim. The busy mom of 7 kiddos and wife to 1 incredible man, just trying to muddle my way on this path the Father has laid out before me. You will find here the mundane musings of this crazy mom. I see life through a lens all my own. Sometimes it is rose colored and sometimes it is neon and glowing, others its just plain grey. I am honest about my weaknesses and admit them readily, so join me on this trail and maybe you can bypass some of the stumblig blocks as I yell out the cautions:). It is rarely straight, and never boring, with 7 kids, nothing in life ever is:)

    Hey there!

I hope you will love homeschooling as much as we do. The first year was rough, but now it is great! I have used several curriculum, but with the addition of #5 kid in February, I was looking for a curriculum that would work for multi-ages and not stress me out with preparation time. My neighbor recommended ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) and it seemed to be everything I was looking for. All I can say is, I have NO preparation time-just have to hand out their material in the morning and be there to assist when needed. But it is so well thought out that the kids can work 95% of the material completely on their own (even down to kindergarten level!) . Your kids can take the diagnostic test right online and it will place them where they need to be. You will have an advisor that will work personally with your family to guide you along the way. You are welcome to check out our material too if you would like to see it first hand. Good luck to you on this new endeavor!

I used ACE in highschool, but wasn’t sure my kindergartener would get all he needed. In am SURE the curriculum has changed a lot in the 18 yrs since I used it:) Thank you so much for the encouraging words- they are rare thus far in our journey. We only decided to make this change a week ago, it is a HUGE task, but I know God will direct our steps and show us what we need to do.
